Youth Membership

The RSGB offers licensed amateurs, who live in the UK are 25 and under, free membership of the Society. However we do need some proof of age and licence. If you are under 18 we also need parental approval of your membership. You will be required to upload these proofs at the time you make your application. If you are 25 and under and licenced you can enjoy our monthly digital RadCom magazine and other great benefits of the Society. However those under the age of 16 are not allowed to vote in our elections etc. and are known as junior members until their 16th Birthday.

Our Digital platform gives full access to our monthly RadCom, RadCom Basics and RadCom Plus and to decades of back issues through the web app or by downloading the RSGB mobile App via the Apple App and Google play stores.

For those that are not licensed you are still welcome to join the RSGB but the membership is chargeable. You can also become a family member if one of your family members are on a paid membership , this would cover everyone living at one address. The paid family member would need to contact us to change their membership.
